I can understand the anger about the fantasy stuff. WTF was with that thing outside the faire last year? I so wanted to take a sword to it.

They had this big air filled lizard the called a dragon and they charged people to walk thru it. The only purpose the dragon served was to collect extra money and scare small children.

I know the guy that runs the archery booth, perhaps he'll miss the target.

I know theres a place for the fantasy stuff, and that if the person is in question a patron they have the right to wear whatever they want, it could be a twinkie costume, BUT come on, Im tired of seeing the human pets, heavage and the rest of the like. If a person wants to wear say shiny fabric for whatever class, say peasent fine, close enough, you're trying ya know.

The "dragon" will be gone for sure. They are changing the outline of the shire to have a better "flow" AND they are NOT having "Sound and Fury" this year. Richard is pretty upset and said they are going to go to Corona Faire. The suits at RPFS feel that they need to freshen up some of the aspects of the faire by getting rid of the old and bringing in some new. IMHO-why mess with what has been working since 1964. Guess REC is worried since we had to move...maybe they are getting ready to give us the boot like they did Northern.

I plan on going, but how often? Who knows now that the drive went from 27 mins to over an hour (spoiled rotten, I know). It really depends on the hubbys schedule at work, and whether the little one is up to it...
I hope to see some of you there

Personally I think REC needs to be booted. let the Rennies run the faire.

What? You think that a faire should be run but the people who love it and not by people who are looking to squeeze every penny they can out of it? For shame!

Shameless or not thanks for the info. I am always looking for great places to shop and if I can shop with a fellow wench that makes it even better.
