I have been a member since the beginning of Local 35 but kept quite in the shadows. Weirdly enough, not nearly as gifted with the social extroversion that I see among you lovelies :-) I would really like to be a part of the wenchiness this year, but am unsure how to go about it. I've thought that simply walking up and introducing myself would be inappropriate since I've been so NOT in the loop and not an active, helping member.

So here's a wave, letting you know I'm here and willing to help as much as I'm needed.

Hi Mayden!!

Please never be too shy to introduce yourself to us!! It doesn't matter if you haven't been active as of yet, the important part is you get more active now! Come play and have fun with us!

Thanks! I will try to make it a point. I'm assuming the Pirate Pub is always a good place to find most of you. I've become pretty proficient at spotting the Wench Guild pins, too :-)

::whistle:: Um, yeah, generally a good place to find some of us! I tend to stay there since there is food/ale/flushers and shade all close by! Not to mention it's where we get to see Iris and Rose at their best, as well as a few other great performers.

If you wander into the Pub area, look for anyone of the group wearing various colored waist sashes with a Colorado Rogues patch (not associated with the IBRSC). Ask for me, they can point me out, unless I have wandered off on a walk-about to visit friends who can't leave their booths!

I can't believe it starts this weekend....another sewing marathon going on in my basement this week....<<whew>>
