Ok so the garment district trip SUCKED.

I only spent $100 ( that included lunch).

The linen variety was horrid ( I only snagged two pieces), and the
brocade was icky. They are between seasons right now so the pickings
are slim.

I uploaded pics of all the new stuff-

http://photos.yahoo.com/akeen02037 click on the fabrci For sale
folder.

There is:

Red linen 60 inches wide 6 yards long $32.00 (shipping included)

Saffron Yellow linen 45 inches wide 10 yards available $5/yard or $50
for the whole shebang (shipping included)

Cherry blossom brocade poly lycra blend 1 yard 45 inches wide (I had
to buy at least 3 yards and I only needed 2) black background,
flowers in shades of red and white $7.00 (shipping included)

Carmel paisley brocade 3 yards 45 inches wide paisleys are white and
dark brown. $25.00 (shipping included)Would make an awesome Ghawzee,
turkish or Persian cote, or a really nice sideless.

Stuff I haven't photograghed yet cause I need new batteries in the
digi-camera:

Cadet blue heavy weight flannel 4 yards 60 inches wide. Great for
cloak or coat lining or good winter Irish. $30.00 (shipping included,
and this one is heavy)

Camel Wool/ acrylic blend 5 yards 60 inches wide. Medium weight
(heavier that suit weight, lighter than coat weight)$50.00 (shipping
included, and this one is heavy)

And leftover from last week:

Navy blue linen- SOOOO soft 4 yards, 60 inches wide lightweight, but
not sheer (great for pennsic wear). $30.00 Shipping included

I take paypal, money orders and checks (US funds only please)

Email off list if anything strikes your fancy

Abby--

When were you in the LA Fabric district? Michael and I were there on Saturday... *grin*

I found some AMAZING blue wool for a cloak--and some lovely green cotton velvet for work. :)

Sorry to have missed you!

you know...if you're in the LA area and looking for nice cheap linen....there is a great fabric warehouse right off the 5 in commerce...all my shifts are linen due to this....and oh how they breathe!

Oooh... it looks more and more likely that I'll be moving to that area in January--I'll definitely pick your brain then. :)
