With faire rapidly approaching (5 more days) I am looking for a way to proctect my scalp from sunburn. I have very fine, thin hair & unless I wear a hat of some sort, (which I can't stand as it only makes me hotter) I was wondering if anyone knows of a sunblock that you use on your hair & scalp. I know I've seen it a few years ago in Kmart, but I am unable to track it down this year. Any suggestions?

Hmm, good question. I've always just put sunscreen wherever I ended up parting my hair that day. I remember burning my scalp in Jamaica, and it hurt pretty bad. There has to be something, no?

There are shampoos/conditioners that are made with a sunblock built in. I have found them at Sephora or Ulta 3 (I usually call first to see if they are in stock.) The name escapes me for the moment, but the sales gal usually knows what I'm talking about when I ask for it. I used the heck out of them when I was a lifeguard.
Also, have you considered some kind of hat?
