Ladies, please forgive my intrusion into your local thread. I am looking for information about Arizona. Not tourist information, information useful for someone looking to move there. I found a little on weather, which was useful, and I found a website that listed counties, but it was difficult to navigate, and much of the site was under construction. I am looking to take a call to a Lutheran school in the state, and I was kinda looking for information on what to expect if I move there. Housing costs, typical wildlife, really any information for any part of Arizona. Would any of you be able to help me out? Any info would be greatly appreciated!

A lot of that info depends on where in Arizona you're thinking of going. You've got Phoenix and Tempe and Tucson, which are more typical to what you think of when imagining Arizona. but then you have Flagstaff and northern Arizona, which isn't all-that dissimilar to what it looks like in Northern Wisconsin. (warmer, but surprisingly similar!)

I can give you info on the Phoenix/Scottsdale/Fountain Hills area, a little on Jerome and some on Flagstaff. Other than that I'm not that well-versed. Of course, I'm sure many of our fellow wenches could give you a lot more info than I can, as I'm sure there are many that ar actually located there full time.

I don't know where I am going, I just know it won't be a major city. I hate big cities. So I wasn't looking for info for any specific area of Arizona. As in, I am looking for any and all information anyone can give me about any part of Arizona. Is that clear? I am not sure if I even understand what I just wrote, but I just woke up as well.
