Hey ladies & gents--

I recently purchased a large stash of very happy brightly colored, high quality flannel that I plan on making into wrap pants, like this:

Personally, I LOVE my wrap pants... I wear them ALL the time.

My question to y'all--would there be an interest in these?

I really like the concept, bu there's a big difference between my waist and hips (about 12") and I have a long rise - I have to buy talls to fit, and then cuff the legs... Were you thinking od custom fits? In which case I may be more interested... I won't make pants for myself, and am not thrilled with skirts - I like Princess seamed dresses!

I had thought of just makin a bunch up in advance and posting them on my website--but I can CERTAINLY do some custom for ya. :)

Hmmm - now I just have to measure myself and send someone my measurements... After this weekend - have a faire down in Amana IO to go to - it's a fun little show, but 5-6 hours from here...

What measurements would you need?

Hmmm... let's see:

waist
hips
inseam
length from waist to ankle

That should do it. :)

I really like the style, but how HOT would they be if they're made out of flannel? Is there any way to sort of 'rate' them?

I have no clue--I haven't made any yet, just bought the flannel. ;)

They would be warmer than cotton broadcloth, fer sure. Meant for fall/winter use. Probally about as warm as a good pair of pyjama flannel pants. :)

How is it that you make wrap pants? See, i LOVE them, but I have a pair that are just a tad to small around my damn hips, the laces are hard to untie because I have to knot them, and they come to my knee, (one size fits all type thing...and I am not all) I'd like to make some longer for everyday fall wear. I would love to make my own, but I have never seen a pattern for them, especially not in plus sizes, but they look easy enough. I could be wrong.
