I realize this is very short notice, but, any of you lovely ladies in the area who might be reading the boards and would like to participate in the Colorado Rogues 3rd Official Blood Drive, please let me know.

April 7 starting at noon and running until we have no more blood to give. ;-)

We will be a the Bonfils Blood Donation Center in Westminster (near 1-25 & 120th Avenue) http://www.bonfils.org/bonfils.php?section=donor&page=donor&drill=westminster. The site also lists eligibility requirements.

We will be attending the function in garb, the people at the donation center get a kick out of us. ::yay::

Please feel free to ask any questions you might have.

I love donating as well. I was terrified the first time I donated, but once I realized it wasn't that bad, I have given pretty regularly. Got it down to about 3 1/2 minutes to give up the pint. ;-)

This is our 3rd blood drive, the phlebs get a huge kick out of us. We generally show up, en masse and in pirate garb and entertain others there donating.

I wish it were possible to get lots of Wenches there to donate! The only problem we've had was one of our girls wore a corset....for the first time...and gave blood....for the first time. Wasn't a good combo. She walked away okay.

I love the feeling of giving blood. Something about being drained.. but I'd totally do it in a corset, too! Hehehe. Last time I gave blood, I got a MASSIVE hematoma on my left arm. Huge bruise covered the forearm, inner elbow and wrist. It was pretty sweet looking.
