OK - when are the cops and others finally going to put him away?

O.J. Simpson's Distraught Daughter Calls 911
Sydney Asks For Help With 'An Abuse Thing'
POSTED: 8:37 a.m. EST January 30, 2003

MIAMI -- There's word that police were called to O. J. Simpson's Miami home earlier this month.

Police said Simpson's 17-year-old daughter Sydney had called 911 after what she said was an argument with her dad.

Police said she was crying, and asked them to help in what she called "an abuse thing."

The police report said when officers arrived, the girl said she and her dad had argued over "family issues."

O.J. Simpson's lawyer said his client was listed in the report only because he's the home owner. He said Simpson wasn't even there when police arrived.

Of course he wasn't there ... he's already fled like the coward he is. This case continues to completely baffle, frustrate, and confound me. Everyone knows he got away with murder because his high-priced lawyers played the race card. And even when civil courts found him guilty and ordered him to pay financial restitution - he didn't comply. AND ... worst of all, the courts gave him custody of Nicole's kids. What's it going to take to put this guy away? Is he going to have to murder someone else ... his own daughter perhaps? The guy obviously has psychotic problems with women. Granted, he can never be retried for Nicole's murder, but how long is law enforcement going to turn the other cheek on this guy?

I'm with you Baroness.....this man should NOT be walking the streets. He should be behind bars or better yet....6 feet under. Such a smug bastard too....and what is with the women who date him?!! :irked:

As for his daughter....let's hope she presses charges and send him away.

I agree that he should not have gotten off for Nicole's Murder, I remember our history class in high school stoping class for that day to finish watching the trial just to see if he got convicted. The class thought it was a day off, but the teacher was asking us questions about what we thought the verdict would be and why... asking us to use what we had discussed in class earlier in the semester.
I know most of the class thought that he should be sent to jail or to death row , we were mortified when he got off. :stunned: I was just frustrated with our justice system. :augh: I was still learning about evidence and all of that stuff though.

But as for the daughter, I am with you on the hopes that she presses charges. There is no excuse for abusive behavior toward anyone, but especially your own children. It doesn't just hurt them for that moment, or just a few days, it effects (affects?) them and those they are around for the rest of their lives.
Who knows what our "government" will do though.

I am not an OJ advocate at all, but what if she is crying wolf? It seems that he wasn't home at the time, and perhaps there is a slight chance she is crying wolf. I have read several things concerning her attention calling skills.

Just my .02.. I think that they should have called a hung jury and retried the whole thing.
