New Renaissance Festival In Michigan

Well, I got the phone call... there is a new festival opening up in
Michigan. It will be having it's Grand Opening in October of 2008. And it is located
right outside of Frankenmuth.

Mid Michigan Renaissance Festival

October 11 - November 2, 2008 (weekends only)

They are going to have weekend themes.

Halloween weekend is going to have trick or treating for the kids!!

They are in the look out for more merchants, acts, actors/tress, performers,
shows, vendors, food, staffing, volunteers, musicians, etc.

Good idea, but bad time of year. Too high a possibility for snow.

The first couple of weekends should be OK, but yeah, there is a chance for later on.

Although, we have not been getting snow until way late here. I *think* it was in December that we got our first snow this year and October had temps in the 70's.

Our october had 90s down here in Cincy (not fun). There is also an overlap of ORF with it. Hopefull it will turn out great!
