Greetings all!
The first day of festival begins this weekend, and with the start, I have a few things I would like to clear up.
First, the Hostel:
We finally have the location for the Wenches’ Hostel. Lady Fair of Things From Rings has graciously set up a tent for us behind her booth almost across from the flogger booth. This is a place for the local and visiting wenches to go to when they need a quiet moment away from the rest of the festival, to adjust their garb, etc., like a green room for the Guild members. There will be emergency supplies there, i.e. extra garb and water. (Please bear with us as we try to gather our supplies…donations are gratefully accepted.) There will be a cork board/dry erase board where the walk times will be posted and a place to sign in. While this is a Wenches’ Hostel, all the other guilds are welcomed to stop in if there is an emergency (we all have them); we just ask that you ‘knock’ before entering…you never know when a wench might be adjusting the girls. J
Please remember we are a guest of Lady Fair and we must respect that she is running a business. There will be a sign there noting the Hostel; it is small, but it will do while the banner is being finished (see the attachment).
Here are the Hostel rules:
1.) Must have confirmation letter/pin/ID card for entrance to the Hostel
2.) We are not an animal or child drop-off site. Please do not ask.
3.) NO SEX* IN/AROUND THE HOSTEL!
*Sex includes, but not limited to: Intercourse, Oral, fingering, petting, etc.
4.) No smoking in the Hostel, or in front of the Hostel, please and thank you.
5.) Please do not use your cell phone in front of the Hostel; that is why we have a backstage area.
6.) If you do leave things at the Hostel, please pick them up by the end of the Festival day so they are not lost or damaged. Items not picked up will become property of the Hostel.
7.) Sign in at the Hostel when you come in.
8.) First and foremost, we follow Lady Fair’s rules!
Second, Escarlata:
Back in November, Escarlata met with the Privy Council, though we figured the outcome was no one’s business but those involved and Lars. In light of recent events, and with the permission of Escarlata, we figured we needed air what Lars and the Privy Council had decided.
Her defense was heard, and by Lars’s suggestion, and through the agreement of the Privy Council, she is to retain her pin. There was an agreement between Escarlata and the Privy Council. She has asked us to let her know if we see her going beyond what the guild and festival guidelines allow. She is NOT to be baby-sat, she is a grown woman. Sisters watch out for each other, and the PRIVY COUNCIL will honor our agreement with Lars and Escarlata.
