So. Chip stays in, or chip comes out?

I don't think anyone here has a doubt, but ooooh, I'm waiting so see how it all shakes down.

Bonnie? You must have a thought or two, ya?

I say 86 that chip and let's see just how stable his soul is. Yow! Was our baby in some major agony tonight or what?

I was ready to smack the living crap out of Amy. Karma is so going to bite her in the butt later on. I'm liking Kennedy and Willow, though. That was some kiss!

Now let's get on to next week and Buffy's date with Woods. And of course, poor Xander hooks up with yet another evil wicked bitca. :augh: At least it's someone hot.

chip is coming OUT!!! Is there any doubt about it? It's the only way to further a plot or Spuffy. As for Xander, I have NEVER forgiven him his betrayal of Buffy in Becoming Part II. He deserves all the crap he gets. :whip:

does anyone here think that the whole Willow/kennedy thing is a foil to please the screaming hordes of gay rights proponents? I think it cheapens the Tara/Willow bond to have her find the next pretty face and start smooching on it. I'm trying to hop on the Winnedy bandwagon, but it ain't happening yet.

I just can't wait to see what unfolds with Spike. He must be redeemed! My theory for the end? That there will be a great battle, good and evil (of course), and the pivotal moment will be when Buffy has been knocked out, and the only possible person who can save the universe is Spike. He knows he will die in doing so, but he sacrifices himself and so redeems himself. Buffy and the gang are left to pick up the pieces and realize that at the end, he was a man, after all, and the one person who has ever been worthy of Buffy's love. He never left her, never betrayed her, and fought beside her til the end. The first evil will be defeated, although not destroyed, and will retreat to nurse it's wounds and plot. The SITS will lose their potential status and return to normal lives....something about the slayer line of succession having been terminally damaged. Buffy will discover she is pregnant, the result of a night of passion with Spike on the eve of the great battle. the Scoobies will stand amazed.

In an ideal world, Connor and Cordelia will have a daughter, and Buffy and Spike will have a son (or vice versa), and THOSE two will hook up and produce a new line of slayers. and thus the show will continue...

Oh yeah....buffy isn't one of those shows you can just 'pick up' in the middle of and be able to "get" everything. There are jokes interjected in later seasons that you won't understand unless you've watched and remembered earlier seasons. For example, Xander's quip, in the preview for next week..."Is she evil?" XANDER: "She's attracted to me, so there's a good chance, but I'm hoping for the best."

Funny, but not AS funny unless you know his dating history. Then it becomes bittersweet and hysterical.

What about the fact that we've been totally set up for a possible reunion between Xander and Anya?

can i just ask if anyone was as lame as i was? my best frind and i are sitting there watching and when spike says 'who ya gonna call?' i of course mutter 'ghostbusters' to my friend. who then falls into hysterics when spike then replys about never being able to use that phrase again. she then giggles and says 'hes talking to you, ya loser' i have to say that it was an amusing episode

Didnt get to watch all of it, and I havent seen the past few episodes due to work...BUT....

Chip comes out. Has to. Now that he's got his soul back, it's the only way for Buffy to truly know whether or not hes geniune. His soul alone should be enough to hold him back from the big bad if he truly does love her.

My thoughts.

It's so nice to be among Spike-friendly people...Oh, that bad chip is OUT. It has to be. If Buffy really meant what she said to Spike, about watching him change and believing in him, she has no other course of action.

But they will probably let us hang in limbo a week or three until we find out for sure. 'Cause you KNOW Buffy won't be able to walk in the house and say "Look guys, no more chip." and not have her friends explode.

I gotta throw this in, too - REALLY happy to find that Giles isn't the First. It was looking awfully grim there for a while.

More delicious shudders at the return of Angelus. That boy is so sexy when he's bad.

Right there with you on the bad boy Angelus thing, Kes. One of my favourite fantasies is to be the filling of a Spike/Angelus sandwich. Now THAT gives me delicious shudders! :smooches:
