I thought that would get your attentions!!!

Ok, as Kae posted last month there is a group going to TRF on this upcoming weekend (FINAL weekend of TRF) and as we had talked about (and I'm just now getting around to posting) if anyone wants to chip in towards food, Gandreck and I will do the cooking and anyone who chips in doesn't have to bother with preparing anything - just show up and eat.

So far the menu consists of 2 dishes per night......

Friday night - Potato and Sausage soup with Kale, garlic Breadsticks
option number 2 - Chili

Saturday night - Marinated and Seared Steaks with fried potatoes
option number 2 - Tex Mex Pork with Corn and Black Bean Salsa

breakfasts are simple with eggs, sausage, peppers and onions, bacon, tortillas, lots of fresh coffee and hot cocoa.

Tasty beverages are up to the individuals though we're taking bids on the second bottle of 21 yr Balvenie Scotch now - (first bottle is all accounted for - if we get 4 more bids, the second bottle will be going as well.)

The thing here is, anyone who wants to get in on this needs to contact either me at [email protected] or Kae. I need to know how many people we are feeding, and therefor how much to purchase. I'm sorry for the late posting on this, but we've had a heck of a time lately with the Rogue and I taking up that blissful, domestic, cohabitational state!

Okay - Gandreck and I did the price shopping - it comes up to $30 per couple or $15 per person. (not bad for the menu we have planned)

Everyone we're going to be cooking for needs to let me know ASAP - (if you have to call to let me know, my cell number is 940-595-2616 - and yes, I hated putting that on a public board, but we're down to the last few days...) So far we have a list of 11 people for certain with 4 additional maybes.

The 2nd bottle of balvenie 21 is probably not going to happen. Only 2 people chipping in on it at this point.

If we don't have the extra 4 people, then it will go up to $20 per person. ... distributing the costs helps tremendously.
