They are knock offs. The fine print says he is starting the bids at HALF of what he paid for them. If he only paid $160 bucks, they are NOT any from faire. You can't touch 6 buttton boots for $160.00.

Could still be a comfy pair of boots at a bargain price for the right person. Shoes are funny, if they fit, they fit. Expensive ones don't necessarily guarantee that. My no-name $51 e-bay boots fit great, and have been going strong for 8 years now! Makes me half-inclined to take a chance on these, since they are in my size...

But, if they are well made and all that good stuff - they may be worth the $80

I was just thinking the same thing. Those are the style of boots that I really want. I am really just going to have to find a good way to make some myself.

Well, I won't be home when the auction ends, but I may try to snipe it. Won't pay much over the initial asking price, though. *sigh* I REALLY don't have $80, but it DOES look like such a deal. We sell similar "knock off" boots at the booth I work, and they are much more expensive than $80, that's for sure.
