I am really really sorry to have missed it. I love big bear fair but the timing just wasn't right. The hubby and I will definately be at the next fair and I am planning a trip out to Riverside so that I can go to Dragon Marsh, it is on my "things I must do now that I am home" list. Which also included but not limited to: Going to the beach, eating at in and out, eating real mexican food (and not tex mex crap) and eating at Wahoo's fish tacos...

Every transplanted Californian I have talked to ALWAYS mentions In-n-Out. Never fails.
I have never had Wahoo's though I hear it's good...there is one not too far from work (Foothill and the 15 area-hmmm might have to look).
Yeah, Mexican food. That is a serious consideration for me as I look Eastward in my quest to escape California. I have my eye on KY, but, man-oh-man, I really will be jonesing for the good Mexican food. However, I think I can get some shipped overnight if needed:)

Ya know, I've lived in Cali for over a year now, and In-and-Out does *nothing* for me. I really don't like it. Maybe it's cause I'm transplanted into Cali instead of raised here.

I've heard that before as well. It's regional. I can't remember the place, but when I was out in AZ, I kept hearing about a place that was SO good, every raved about it. So I tried it. Blah, no good at all, so my mind at least.
A friend of mine, when she goes to Washington to visit her cousin and family, takes several Del Taco burritos for him, because he doesn't have any around there. It's his favorite. I don't get it at all.

the husband is a native californian and even though I didn't move here originally until I was 18, I came out every summer to visit my dad and for as long as I can remember they have always been my favorite. They've always been my husbands too.
