What have y'all heard about that brown dwarf star due to hurtle between the sun and earth this spring?
Is anyone taking percautions? If so, what? Or why not?

huh? stars don't hurtle, they usually collapse and go supernova.
Yeah, I know. Regardless, this "failed" brown dwarf is supposedly due.
Any one heard of it besides me?

Where did you hear of it?
Oh Gee. With my 'conspiracy' connections it's ALL over. I'm actually surprised that the mere mention hasn't triggered a heated debate.
I'm not saying it's going to happen, I'm not saying it isn't. I personally find it, while not alarming, something i've followed with curiosity.
I remember in the early 80's I heard that we had discovered a planet past Pluto, and also we had discovered that we are actually a 'binary system' as in 2 solar systems, 2 suns that pulled off each other. (I was going to be the 1st woman astronaut in space. I even had a NASA contact named Curtis Graves so I was obsessed with space for a bit. It went away when the first woman went up)
Then nothing. Nada. No retraction, no explaination, just sudden silence. I remember being disapointed at the time, but forgetting about it. That is why I follow it with curiosity.
So, here is the bare bone 'rumors' in a re-cap.
(If you want, here is a STARTING point to look for yourselves detailshere.com/nibiru)
A brown dwarf failed at becoming a star. Having the composition that it does, it pretty much couldn't be a stable celelestial and stay put. So somehow it ended up wiggling its way back and forth between our system and our systems 'twin' about every 3,600 years. It is due back about May of 2003. In its passing, it is said to cause major earth changes like increased earthquakes, volcanic activity, unpredictible (unsidedown) weather, tidal waves and every once in awhile, a poleshift as its gravitational field overcomes the suns, and it stops the rotation for about 3 days as it passes. Causing a rather underestimated big problem.
Ancient prophecies from numerous cultures predict the planets passing as well as leaving reports of the planetary alterations and catastrophies it has left on its wake. A number of 'todays' clairvoyants seem to agree with what the expected results should be -vs- what the are visualizing.
Of course, 'prophecy' is no proof of fact. There has however been a degree of scientific fact to make one wonder about the validity of a possible hypothosis concerning Planet X.
(For my part, the only thing that I can actually think of to cause such palnetary changes decribed by 'Armogeddon' {In what ever religion you may care to use} would have to be some sort of planetary event. Only a celestial event could cause such devestation..... No, even multiple simultaneous nuclear blasts wouldn't be able to complete all the requirements)
Such as the current state of geological upheavels, Breaking up of Polar Ice shelves, changing climates, Internal aeriel navigation systems in birds going haywire (birds ending up at the wrong place at the wrong time of year), magnetic fields fluctuating, those 'mystery' areas where things roll uphill increasing.
Off planet there are Major dust storms on mars, Jupiters spot is shrinking for the first time, and our sun has been behaving oddly, almost erraticly, large flares extending to the area where Nibaru is supposedly coming from, more spots, and the like.
All factors taken into consideration, it presents a puzzle where one might think about gathering more information and making up ones own mind.
If indeed we are in the process of an 'earth cleansing' the first and formost thing one ought to remember is that earth has gone through these catastrophies before, and ultimately, been no worse for wear.
Beginning at the 7 week prior to the 'shift' here are the signs.
-A dot appearing in the sky to the naked eye getting bigger and bigger
-More disruptions of weather and a general strangness in feeling (this however is gradual and unless your attuned to yourself, you might miss it.
-Items zipping by the earth, or chunks of debris caught in the earths gravitational field (extra 'moons', unidentified "what's that" as seen thru observatories)
-The like
When it begins:
-Dust, lots of red dust. Enough to turn rivers and water into the color of blood. At this point, water is undrinkable
-Dust getting bigger until the size of hail, medium sized boulders, to a couple of hunky chunks of whatever space debris is caught in the 'tail' of the planet (Remember, it is going to pass between the sun and us, so the earth will pass through the tail.)
-(According to Zeta talk, which includes alien info, so make up your own mind depending how you feel) The planet is going to grab the magnetic strip buried in the mid atlantic abyss and overtake the suns gravity. Causing the comet to 'hold' the earth in its grip. unfortunately, as it does this, it rips the upper loose. (think of taking a glass of water, and swirling the water. Once you stop and hold the glass still, the water keeps spinning. Essentially the same thing. Except maybe backward. the outer part of the glass could be the spinner, and the inner magnetic is the one that stops.
-Proportional devestation as the Atlantic abjects or streaches (again, check out a oceanography map) and the Pacific place subjects (again)
-All the tearing loose causes:
*Earthquakes, Volcanic eruptions, and the like as the plates release the pressure
*500mph+ winds as the world keeps spinning until it sloshes down and stops.
(so, under something for dust and not in a cave for the tearing and earthquakes that ensue. Something tho' that's some pretty horrendious wind)
Afterward:
A large number of chemical releases, organic viruses and bacteria, and odd space 'stuff' make most water and food unedible. (It might be a good idea to bottle water or boil it
and drink the steam, and to fast for about a month.)
Large scale death. Too much to bury, viruses and bacterial get into things you would normally eat.
etc.
The intresting thing that I note is that just about everyone has a similer piece of advice. Afterward, mankind should work together. Sure, there are going to be the panics and strongest rules gangs and cannibals and the like, but you can only take so much before your selfish resources that you've horded vanish and your left feeding off each other. It's only those (probably smaller) groups that SHARE and help each other (Information, food, water, tasks, whatnot) that are seen in scenerio after sceanerio to ultimately survive. If not thrive.
Well, that's it in a little nutshell. I really thought y'all would know. Even if you didn't think much of it.

What? Why isn't the government telling us? You mean all those worldwide institutions that have nothing but our well being above theres?
What would they tell you? In there own way they are trying.
Disaster movies, martial law in effect, and guess what? An upcoming war.
Where war may be the least of our problems but at least some people are doing small stocks of things.
What would they say? Where could they tell you to go? Sheeple panic and expect people to take care of them. How? The earth population surpassed the earths abilty to feed in 1987. Too dependent on governments. Not enough Bartering and Gardening.
Take it for what it's worth.
To answer my original post. Yes, I have heard of it. I don't know if I believe it. So many 'doomsday' dates have come and gone that I can't really get excited anymore. At this point I'm saving money. If I see a red dot getting bigger, I'll say "oh crap/oh good, here it comes. Nasty times ahead. If I live through the whole thing (including the swing back out of the system a couple years after that) I understand that the only ones that will have made it are people that pulled together. Not pulled apart."
I'll do what I can to help. We've already seen that selfishness in this world isn't the answer. It only causes a world like this. I wouldn't mind getting a few things together. But I'm a peasant. With limited resources.
Maybe. Maybe not. I'll just keep my eye out. and what will happen will. I'll just have to do my part. I guess starting now.
Peace be with you.

I went ahead and asked my friend the astrophysicist what he thought about it, and here's what he had to say:
I haven't paid any attention to the whole "Planet X" thing, so I can't debunk
specific claims (although I'm sure I could go through that thing you forwarded
and point out errors), but I think you would be best served by checking out
Phil Plait's www.badastronomy.com. I know the guy who runs that site has a
whole page debunking various aspects of the "Planet X" bruhaha. If that
doesn't give you what you need, write me back, and I'd be happy to try to
tackle what Phil didn't cover. He's pretty thorough.
I must add, of course, that Don is far more than merely an astrophysicist-- he's a remarkably talented lighting designer, for one-- but really, if you CAN actually say, "My friend, the astrophysicist," how can you miss any opportunity to do so?
