Greeting from the Hostel Committee!! (Colleen, Rhia, Isa, & Mary)
As you may have already read in an earlier posting, there is a committee
tasked with picking the location of our official hostel. Instead of just
basing our needs on the thoughts of our committee, we want to get a few other
opinions as well. Therefore, the committee is conducting a survey to see what
you all expect of our 'OFFICIAL' (WooHoo!!!) hostel this year. We need to
get a good perspective of what our needs are before the committee can chose
a location that 'meets our needs'.
We're asking that you take a few moments to mark a few "X"s, write a comment
or two, and forward this email back to my attention: [email protected]
before midnight, Sunday February 8th.
We're sorry for such a quick turn around time, but we really need to get
moving on this process so we can have a home in time for Scarborough Faire
this year. (It's closer than some of you think!! MMMmm ... and if I
concentrate I can almost smell the Yummy food at Victors!)

__ Zero - Just not my kind of thing.
__ Just a few minutes - pop in and say "hi" and
"I'm here!!" I got places to go and things to do!
__ Maybe 30 minutes to an hour. Scheduled 'Meet me
here and plan my day' kind of place.
__ 1 - 2 hours Good of a place as any to kill a
little time.
__ Hell, aside from a couple ale and privy breaks,
I could be there all day!
What do you feel our hostel should offer to us? (Keeping in mind - our
hostel is somebody's business and we should be polite guests while in this
area.)
__ A table, a few chairs, and shade to retreat to.
__ I like to stay in full character in the lanes and
need a place to smoke a cigarette/eat/adjust my
garb/etc. out of the line of public sight.
__ A Bulletin Board to leave messages and/or
announcements for my sisters.

__ A place to fly our colors - post our banner -
hang our signs. Let the world know we're here!
__ A place to keep a water cooler. Cool water -
always a good thing!

compare shades of lipstick (who knows ... maybe
some year we'll get to do walks!).
