I'm looking into the hotels now.

A few questions, what rate and what type of room? Smoking or non?

I may be interested.

That cheap? Hmmm....do they have a jacuzzi? I know it sounds trivial, but the big draw of the HI to me is the jacuzzi -- it's just so nice on my bad back after a long faire day.....

I'll have to do some more research....

Thanks for the heads up, Tink!

That I don't know.....Guess you'd have to call or check their website. Personally I can live without it....if I really need a hot soak I'll hit the tub. No chlorine involved and no possibilty of annoying youngsters.....which seems to NEVER fail when I attempt to use a hotel jacuzzi. Don't people know that it's illegal to allow children under 16 in a hot tub for their own health? *Not* to mention the fact that others are in it to relax and don't want kids jumping and splashing in it?

Leah I checked the site...says they have a pool. No mention of a jacuzzi, but my guess is they prolly do have one....

All o' which doesn't really help Moira at all, though.

Moira, can you just cancel the reservation? Unless Leah takes it, of course!

Yes, I know that. I suggest she cancel her reservation as well. The other 2 local hotels are just WAY cheaper.

i can cancel it... thats not a problem... i just know that some people were looking to stay there and they didnt have any rooms left...

as for the ramada... ive never seen a jacuzzi... theres a pool, and a very nice resturant, but ive never seen a hot tub... it may be hiding somewhere... i'll check the website...

My original problem with Holiday Inn wasn't Saturday nights...they still have those... it was the Fridays that were booked solid and since I am working the faire...I HAVE to be up there on the Fridays, so I had to go with Ramada....However....it works out better becuase it's saving me a HEAP of cash.
