I was given so many wonderful things this year. But I must say that my three favourites came from some of the most important people in my life. My little girl made me a picture frame with broken pottery and grout. Her nana helped her with it. They matted a photo that Nana took of her at the zoo and Rhiannon wrote her whole name on the mat. I've got to tell you that I cried like a big old baby.

Then Nana gave me a certificate redeemable for 1 full week of sitting for Rhiannon, redeemable with notice in case of vacation or honeymoon. Once again with the tears.

Then later that night, my beloved Sir gifted me with a beautiful black leather collar with a silver bow in front and beautiful silver filigree pieces down the side and a matching leash. He buckled it about my neck and slipped the lock into place. He told the Elaina, the woman at Scenewear who made the set, that this was pretty much the equivilent of an engagement ring for us and it had to be perfect. It was...and is! And of course, I cried...

This was the most wonderful holiday I have had since I was a child. The only thing missing were my two best friends, Steph and Panda.

My favorite gift was my 5 year old nephew climbing in bed with me, asking "Aunt Julie, is it time to go downstairs yet?" and getting to tell him "No" and being able to snuggle with him for an hour! Plus my new book on old outhouses is way too cool!

I hope your holiday started out as wonderfully as mine!

Well, my favorite prezzie wasn't acutally a gift to open. The current man, who finally :smooch: kissed me last week after almost 2 months, came over on Christmas eve to hang out and have "boat drinks". Well, he didn't waste any time moving from kiss to "other"! Right under the tree, too!!! Merry Christmas to me, yee ha!

...my favorite present was a x -rated bodice chiller from stuart ableman pottery ...
it's purple and gold iridescent...ribbed..for MY pleasure ;-)
I had to order it..but my mom paid for it..and I had it sent to her house... she wrapped it up in the box and gave it to me...I whipped it out right in front of everyone as I was sitting down on the floor like a kid opening my toys.....My brother saw it and yelled "oh my god!!!!!!!" ...my mom just shook her head...and laughed...

aside from being home with my family :grouphug:

i can't decide i got so many nice thoughtful presents! :merryxma:

i think my favorite THING was rendering my brother speechless  he just got yellow white and black racing leathers and helmet to go with his new racing bike recently so we got a liscense plate frame that says "Yes, I am the/ YELLOW RANGER" since we all think that's what he looks like and he vehemently denies it....

he opened the present and just sat there and STARED at it for several minutes :hmm:

it was great!

giving my sister a cna of every "cream of" soup but mushroom was pretty funny too! she claims she can onyl cook things with crema of mushroom in them so we thought we'd expand her culinary horizons... it helps that we found a campbell's soup barbie for her collection to go with it!

i love the holidays!

*smile* My soon-to-be-seperated husband bought me a lovely freshwater black pearl necklace that I had my eyes on last time we were in Atlanta. It's a *great* necklace--it'll go super with almost all of my garb. ;)

Ooohhh... and a set of Pampered Chef pots and pans. Rather appropriate timing, since I'll be moving out at the beginning of Janurary, hopefully. :)

I love those Pampered Chef pots and pans! I've got a set of the knives and those are my babies in the kitchen! No one else is allowed to use them. Even my mother knows better than to pick up one of my knives!

It's been a fantastic holiday season. Today, my friend Jasmine got word that her mother was being released from the hospital after a ravenging bout with leukemia. She'll have to return every 2 weeks for chemo, but so far it's looking great! I don't think I've ever spent so much time in prayer and meditation as I have this season, but I honestly feel that it's all paid off. Every last second of it.

May the joy and peace of what's left of the Season be yours-

I bought myself the Charlie Brown Nativity Set... it's too cute. :D I wanted it, so I got it.

Mama gave me underwear (granny panties, as mamas always do) and socks but I was thrilled, because they're comfy and practical. Damn, it's nice to be single and wear granny panties if ya wanna.

:bananada: By FAR the best is to be done with surgery... and for all to be well. May it be so with all of you too!

Lovingly, :smooches:

Ally-
I'll second the being done with surgery and having all turn out well! Glad to hear it's going well for you! I'm right there with you on the "if I never see the inside of a hospital again" club. And I don't ever wanna have to take anything else radioactive so I can't be around my little girl for 4 freakin' days. Of course, Rhiannon being the precocious little WIT that she is, asked if her mommy was going to be able to glow in the dark! To which I replied, "Only when I pee."

Have an incredible day!

My favorite is a "girdle book" that my good friend Sasha made for me. It hangs from my belt, will be used to write all my "receipts" and treatments in, and I love it! It even has dragon flies on the front of it! And it's the softest, prettiest, tan leather... Yummm...

Posted my other good stuff in "The Best of Christmas" topic, but will post a goodie here too -

took the $ my doctors gave me for xmas and went and got a new tattoo. A coverup of the little cheesy vine around my ankle, which is now kickin blue water and waves with a gorgeous winged sea horse-like dragon rising up out of the waves. It is sooooooo awesome, but OW I had forgotten how bad these things hurt!

Awww, Tinkerwench, we're so glad you got that prezzie too! :D

Wenching... the gift that keeps on giving... :D

Shel: I think we have the same tree! Does it say Merry Christmas on the base, and is fiberoptic? I call it my Viva Las Vegas tree. :) My pup stares at it lovingly for hours. For those with kids, I highly recommend it as the next electronic babysitter. ;) (bad me... shame, shame. ;)

Love to all!

I HATE the spinning tree. I make her turn it off when I am there. Spinning trees belong in trailor parks. Just my opinion.
