I talked my work into having a sale so i could sell some of my older costumes.
So far we have some costumes, staffs, and jewelry.
I think I could even work out having some items sent from other areas for the sale if you want to contact me. here the blurb:
Fairely Good Stuff Consignment Sale! March 27th & March 28th 10:30-6:30 PM
Calling all Faire Folk, SCA, & General Re-enactors in the So California area! Want some extra $$$??
Faire season is almost here! Are you ready?
We have noticed that our trunks and closets are more than a little full, & we figured that if ours were full, yours must be bulging at the seams too.
To this end DragonMarsh is having their First annual - Fairely Good Stuff Consignment Sale.
Bring down all those Faire goods that are in "fairely" good shape. Costumes, Costume Accessories, supplies, leather goods, instruction and history books (no fiction please), feastwear, armor, etc. We might even sneak in a few costumes from other time periods.
All items are subject to DragonMarsh's discretion. Items should be clean and in good condition. Soiled or ripped items will not be accepted.
All items for sale must be received by March 24th. You MUST CALL for AN APPOINTMENT for us to receive your items. (Why? So we don't have 25 people here on March 24th at 6: 30 p.m.!
When we receive your items be prepared to give us an idea of the price you want for the item.
$$$-You will receive 70% of the selling price of your item by the end of April. (So we have time for all the checks to clear and check everything back out). DragonMarsh will pay all Credit card, check, and service fees out of our 30% fee. All unsold items must be picked up by April 15th. You may make arrangements for us to mail your items back.
Clean the garb closets and sort out that bookcase so you have $ for Faire! (Or taxes!)
Then come down and see what everyone has put out for sale on March 27th & 28th!
