I came across this on Eonline just a bit ago. It only confirms what most of us knew was going to happen. Sigh...

CHOSEN ONE: Sarah Michelle Gellar confirming to creator Joss Whedon she won't be returning to Buffy the Vampire Slayer next year. Instead, the actress will star in Romantic Comedy. No word on which substitute slayer could pick up her stake, yet.

So now maybe Joss will kick it into high gear and see about getting us a Spinoff going...ASAP.

PK
who is now going to break out her DVDs and have a Buffy-a-thon
