I think that there are some people that we never "get over" no matter what we do. I think what you have to do is get to the point where you are "you" again, and the memories don't actively hurt anymore...be it hanging out with friends, doing something new, doing the things you used to and stopped doing, avoiding places you used to go together - whatever it takes to get to that point where you aren't hurting.
What a difficult topic. But what a very smart bunch of women we have.
