My agent just called--Corset Diaries made this week's USA Today bestseller list, which is amazing because it did it on less than a full week's sales. I'm totally chuffed, and equally floored because my other books didn't hit until the second week (which was the first full week of sales).
Many, many thanks to all the Wenches who trotted out and bought the book! You guys are the best!

Thanks, Darcey and Ariel--I'm celebrating by having a margarita, and doing an online chat. :) Yeah, we authors are wild folk.
Katie, who sadly gets snockered on just one margarita

Katie, you are not the only one who does not need much to give me a strong reaction lol!
and while I somehow missed you having a new book out... this is what I get for only looking at the prices of baby name books the last 2 weeks because everyone is worried this baby will not have a name by Sept lol... I am ammassing a small but growing collection of your wonderful books and you are rapidly becoming one of my favorite authors.. and one I reccommend quickly..
Congrats sweetie and {{{giant happy Bearhugs}}}}

Thanks, Ariyana! And congrats on the upcoming baby! How exciting! Is it your first? I think you should let us name the baby. :)

Katie, that is great. And you bet I jumped on the katie bandwagon. I can tell a good book when I see it. I read a excerpt from all three I bought and loved 'em. I can't wait to read them all the way through. Again congrats on making the bestseller list so fast. It is pretty amazing. But if what I read so far is an indication of everything you write then you earned it.

It was funny and a great romp! Somehow tho I wanted to know more about Alice!
Luved it! Adding it to the evergrowing KatieMac section.

Thanks for letting me happy dance amongst you all. It's always nice to have a group of people you can celebrate things with without worrying that anyone is going to get his/her nose out of joint (you have to be very careful happy dancing around other authors).
And speaking of celebrating, I just got the cover for Hard Day's Knight, my jousting/Ren Faire book, and it's gorgeous. Unfortunately, it's not a final version of the cover, so I can't flash it around, but I will definitely put in a link once I have it.
I don't know about you guys, but I can't resist a book cover with a guy in armor... :)

No, Katie, not my first... actually I have 3 living birth children.. a step daughter I raised for more than 10 years so she is mine in every way that counts.. and a sweet angel up in heaven.
My kids are... Mike 22, Kristy 19 (the one I did not birth), Chelsea 11 and Alexander is 8. My angel is Elizabeth, Chelsea's twin.. she only lived 28 hours... I have been doign thsi a long time and at the age of 40 the body is sort of going .. "um.. why are we doiung thsi AGAIN??" lol
This baby already has the middle name of Elizabeth, in honor of her big sister... just working on the last name.

Congrats, regardless. And how sweet of you to give the baby her older sister's name as her middle name! What a nice way to remember Elizabeth.
