Hello!
OK. I'd like to see if we can do a walk, but the question is--who, this year, is our Faire Establishment contact? Who do we talk to in order to 'get permission', as planning a walk without permission from The Bosses is a Bad Idea? (We're there on their sufferance, after all, and I wouldn't want to see people kicked out....)
I'm willing to do the contacting, if I know who it is. Unfortunately, as I'm not working PCRF (wow, I'm a playtron for my first Faire in years!) I don't know who to reach.
I know what it's like to be working and want to walk, but not have the chance because of time constraints.
My proposition, if we are granted leave to Walk, would be:
-meet at or near a booth at 1:00pm. Give 15 minutes to show--if we have enough to Walk, we shall do so. I'll scout out a path in advance, unless we have an established one for the new premises...?
-Walk. Attempt to do said Walk in less than 30mins so that everyone has the chance to take their "lunch hour" and still have time to eat.
I can print out, as Carlene has done in the past, some slips with verses on it for those of us who haven't everything memorized.
I can only, um, semi-coordinate a Walk for Sunday the 11th as that Sat. I have commitments, and the next weekend I'm camping.
Someone let me know, either via PM or an e-mail (arsinoe - at - gmail - dot - com) if you can assist me with any of the above matters, and if you're willing to walk. I'm not technically a walk sergeant/drill sergeant/whatever you'd like to call it, but i'll coordinate what I can. :) Working as a coordinator for real estate/international relocation moves will do that to you...
