Happy New Year!!!

So I stayed home, and spent the evening with my kids...played with the Harry Potter Potion Maker (ye GODS! that stuff it makes is SWEET!! although, if you add a crap load of water, it turns into fairly tasty Kool Aid.)

We played Twister, Scrabble, drank sparkling grape juice out of my wine glasses....loved the look on the kids' faces when they saw they were using my 'grown up' glasses.

Poor buggers, they fell asleep just before midnight...next year, though...I think they'll make it all the way. Here's hoping the new year is better than good, better than better, for all of us. :singdanc:

Sounds like you had a lot more fun than I did. Only one of my friends is in town, and we were supposed to meet up with some of his friends who had both convienently forgotten they had plans elsewhere. :irked:
So, we went to his house by ourselves to watch the ball drop since my roommate STILL hasn't paid our cable bill. Drank a Guiness each :aok: and ended up watching Star Wars Episode II, which I bitched at the screen constantly.
Not a bad night, but that's what we usually do! I usually like a bit more excitement on my NYE, but he's not 21 yet, so no pub parties for us. :sigh:
