Cloisters this weekend (10/3)

Okay, so... who's gonna be there? I'm only about 10 mins away from Manhattan and I will definately be there with my rogue (who is already in Manhattan). It'll be fun taking the subway in garb!

And, last year, I think there was a pot luck kind of lunch on the wall. I didn't know (didn't read the boards well enough) and from what I understand, it was a great success! Are we doing it again this year?

Actually I have never been there during one of these events. Is it similar to faire?

It IS a faire.... no weapons because you're in NYC... and you can go into the cloisters and take pictures IN there IN GARB!!!... great opportunity...

Initail weather reports are rain for Saturday, clear for Sunday... I'll have to see if its in the budget to go. Will keep ya posted... Mainly transportation budget, since I don't like driving in NYC, if we do go take mass transit into NYC, then the A up to 190th.

We'll be at PARF that weekend....but Jay has been to Cloisters before and has had wonderful things to say about it. Have a great time :)
