I'm almost done reading "The Silver Wolf". I fell in love with it at first, as it isn't your standard scary werewolf story. I think I'll pick up the next one, the Night Wolf.

The only thing that bugged me was the twenty million characters you were introduced to for about 5 paragraphs at a clip and then never saw or heard about them again. And the fact that she kept going on and on and ooooooonnnnnnn about how she had freedom with the wolf, oh wasn't it lovely, don't we all love the wolf... Yes, we get it! Sheesh! The wolf rocks! I agree the wolf rocks! Advance the plot now! *giggle*

So...I'm wondering if it would be worth it to spiral off in to some of her other book series. OR does she tend to repeat the same thing quite often in all of her books? I love the fact that she talks about periods in history that aren't overly popular, and I want to get more in to that.

(It's also hard to believe that her sister is Anne Rice. There is a slightly similarity in writing styles, but had I not had that pointed out, I never would've realized they were related.)

I've read the Wolf series and enjoyed them, but they sometimes did take a bit of work, and I'm still not sure who everyone is... I much prefer her to her sister... Less formulaic, more readable.
