the new forums are very cool... tho is it possible to keep the old forums long term as an archives? (with posting eventually switched off but search/read funtion left on) Its an incredibly useful searchable source of info on the guild....

ps. mebbe i'm missing something.. but when i tried t oupload an avatar last nite i hit a 6k max size requirement...yet i can see bigger avatars up on the board already...I stand ready to be *thwapped* if ive missed something obvious.... *G* (like are bigger avatars linked to files placed *elsewhere* and not uploaded directly to the board)

I like it...excpet I notice that when IBRSC went to this similar system...I seem to have to re-log in every time I want to post and even sometimes just navigating on it......

Changes are a good thing, it keeps us on our toes.... besides, who wants the same old same old all the time. Variety is the spice of life, besides the avatars let us express ourselves in some small way; it helps to build a cyberpersonality so to speak. Now we're not just words on a screen....

Yep, we're keeping the old ones for reference.
The "too big" error might mean you're too big in either file size *or* pixel size... I have avatars set to 80x80 max now
