Local moderators needed

Greetings all - sorry for my absence. Been kind of a hectic few months, what with the magazine, the TV and radio crap, and I recently broke my foot. :(

It seems that some spammers decided to camp out in one of our forums - not too too bad, mind you, but enough to make me decide that local moderators are needed.

You folks sort it out amongst yourselves in terms of nominations. We'll then run a poll for each local, and the winner gets to be moderator, assuming they want the job. :)

I will need a list of nominees by, say, Jan 31, 2005. If you have a list sooner than that of course feel free to send it to me before then.

LOL While I appreciate your enthusiasm, I do ask that you settle the nominee list amongst yourselves. I want one (final) list of nominees from each local - how you come up with that list is up to you.

By the way - if your local has done an expedient job of sorting out the local moderator situation, feel free to let me know your final decision here in this thread. Just post the Local number and the forum name of the person selected.

We of Local 9 3/4 decided that Holly is going to be our moderator since she skulks around here more than most of us!! She is really good at skulking the internet for stuff!! Her board name is Holly, as well.
