Who out there is just as frustrated and exhausted waiting for the next book to come out?

I need to know what happens!!!!!

Gah. I'm a wreck. It was a present to me from Christmas 2003.

LOL

There are a LOT of sample chapters online, I've been tiding myself over by reading those a few times.
But I know what you mean! ARGH! :x
I tried to read some other literature by GRRM to tide me over as well...but it's just not the same when you can't read about Aria and John...

I'm tired of waiting not just for Martin but for several others to hurry the hell up and satisfy my curiousity. I mean, when is Robert Jordan gonna get off his duff and finish already??? That last book was torture, though I'm sure there are several people who would say his last several books were torture. Regardless. I'm also eagerly awaiting the next Potter book and waiting for Melanie Rawn to finish her exiles trilogy. I read the first two books at least five years ago and haven't seen anything since. Did I miss it????

I saw a chapter for...uh...wow, it's been so long I can't remember his name. Cersei's brother, the one who lost the hand. I feel dumb now.

And I saw one somewhere for Cersei too...I think. Unless I'm getting that mixed up with A Storm of Swords...

Quoth my rogue,

"What's the big deal? It was like 4 years between book 1 and A Game of Thrones!" ;-)

The big deal is now we're tired of waiting! I hate to be kept waiting.
I mean really, how hard can it be to write a book (insert sarcasm there)!

George R R has a website where he posts updates on the current status of the book.

We're tired of waiting for this one, and Robert Jordan had better get his butt moving, too! That last one was almost a waste of time.

I'm also always waiting for whatever Sharon Kay Penman is writing next. Any other fans?

From the George RR website, circe 11/08/04: "Back at work on A FEAST FOR CROWS, mostly. Revised and rewrote one of Arya's chapters yesterday. Today I mostly worked with Sam, and a little bit with Cersei. I still hope to finish by year's end, but of course I have said that before. We will see how it goes."
