...but I just put in my two weeks notice. I loathe the place where I work, and at this point I do not have a definite place to go to after this.
Right now someone rude has lit up a spice candle a row away and the smell is giving me a headache.
I have been yelled at twice this morning for not meeting my call quotas when we are FIVE PEOPLE SHORT on a 10-person team (and ~I~ am in charge of taking down and distributing the never-ending voicemail that comes in.)
My teammates have taken to ignoring me when I tell them to quit screwing around and get back to work.
My supervisor takes every Friday off (today included) and then comes rushing in on Monday in a panic trying to figure out what he missed Friday because something big like a worker's comp issue inadvertently happens when he does this.

I will NOT miss this place. :x

Despite all the complaining...I am quite excited. :singdanc: And now that there's a light at the end of the tunnel, my soul feels iincredibly light!

I don't suppose anyboyd knows of any job openings in the Central PA area?

No job leads, but I want to say congratulations on shedding yourself of a very negative part of your life! Best of luck & I hope you find something that makes you extremely happy! :)

HEY!!! Are you at my work??? LOL It sounds like you and I have similar jobs. Everyone in any kind of management position at my company has no idea what they are doing. Unfortunately I can't quit because I'm a grad student and I'm poor enough but fortunately i'm only part time. But anyway, GOOD FOR YOU!!! You are my hero of the day!!

Sounds like my last job! I actually got TMJ from it (among other things). My present job has some problems but it is soooo much better. No more TMJ!

Was that from grinding your teeth, or biting your tongue? Or perhaps a bit of both? Anyway you GO Dragonfly!

Yes, wookie is next.

wookie is wearing out his welcome quickly.
Greeted me at my house after work yesterday and did his best to drag me out of the house while I was in desparate need of hemming my pants and doing laundry so I would look good for the interview today.

On one hand it's sweet because he wan'ts to be with me...on the other, he doesn't seem to understand how important it is that I get things done in the order ~I~ need to do them in! :x Grr...

Wait...what the hell are you doing on the net, woman?!?!
