On the check in thread we realized we have a GEN_U_INE author in our midst-LOL
so what other gifts do other people have?
What do you do that is interesting? Have you been given an award? Are you in the news? etc.

In the last year
I have made dresses that have been to the academy awards (a blue "lord of the rings" type dress) --a dress that won the opera pacific mascarade first prize at hallows (and made a bunch of snooty columns in OC's maginies- lol) ---and just made a dress& jacket for Bush's Inagrual ball. Plus all the regular faire costumes and several wonderful historical wedding dresses.
TV:
was on the channel 5 morning news in wench wear with gail anderson in dec for a store ad. (I think I was featured because of my cleavage!- lol)
magizines:
other than ads for the store,this year, I was interviewd by the now defunct "Costume" magine for historical weddings & costumes several years ago
Books/writing:
currently I am tring to write several gifts in a jar books but i never have time to edit them.
I have written many 20 or so page packets for the varius classes I teach.
web sites:
I have a pitiful personal web site that i haven't had time to update with all the new trims i got. Maybe next month.
faires:
I am still the offical minister of the big bear renaissance faire. ---Last year i wilted so bad at the las vegas faire my boyfriend threatened to call a doctor- LOL--- I have discovered the silly picture i posed for (for my mom-as a joke) of my cleavage(in bodice) sticking out between rols of fabric hanging on the side of our booth at san diego has trasversed a few sites as I guess someone else took one too-lol (always see if anyone else is watching if you do something silly!)
it has been a busy year!
Whines:
I still don't have enough time to do stuff I want because I am so busy. I can't find any decent help to hire (hint- don't show up for an interview in a half top, cutoff shorts and flip flops!) I want to loose more weight or get my chin lipoed! I have lived in my house a year and still have boxes of books all over the living room-don't get me started on the sewing room....
