It looks like the best date for us will now be May 18th. I know, I know, it wasn't on the radar before, but it seems now it might be best.

On our agenda:

Our Banner-- designing and approving, then later we'll work on construction.

Our Hostel-- what would we like to see there, and how can we all make it happen.

Our Walks-- this'll be our first year for full Walks, and we need to make ourselves proud! We also need to decide what we're singing.

Last but not least: SPECIAL GUESTS! Yes, folks, that's right! Pending someone coming up with a speakerphone, Dawn, the PR Director of the IWG, will be joining us to answer questions and talk to us about the Official side of the Guild We Call Home.

I'd like to start early, so that we actually have time to get everything done. After the business, I'll be opening up the sewing room to everyone who needs it, and I encourage all to stay and do whatever costume-work needs to be done. I'll try to actually be doing some myself, as I'll be in the midst of VARF. So shall we say we'll start at 11am? Will that work for people?

Also, since it'll be lunchtime, please bring your favourite dish to share. I already have the chocolate dip!

So May 18th huh? Just email me directions from 95 to you Ysobelle and I'll make it this time! Since I won't have the bloody rotten flu!

Okay, I've finally gotten the directions to my place written out, and I've neglected to mark down who needs them.

E me again if you want directions, and I shall reply toute suite with them.

I'm also going to post the tentative agenda for our meeting. As for food, Stacy's bringing pasta salad, I have chocolate, so...who else? Bring whatever you like, but let us all know so we can plan accordingly! Is anyone vegan? Has allergies? Anything?

Saturday, May 18th, at 11am.

Yay!

I might be able to snag a bottle or two of wine to bring along. I'll be at my sister's house on Saturday for a "sister weekend" thingy and won't have time to bake anything. Someday I'll make my lemonade cake for y'all....it's yummy!

I'm bringing fresh baked bread -- two loaves at least.

One will be a basic white bread (but yummy). And I just found a recipe for an apple bread that sounds really delish -- even with some chocolate drizzled on it. :)

Depending on how my Saturday goes, I might make another loaf, too....but I'm not quite sure what -- maybe a whole wheat/oatmeal bread...
