How many are going to take time to watch it?
Just as an aside...
I got this from the BBC- http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/europe/4420879.stm
Iranian President Mohammad Khatami and Palestinian Prime Minister Ahmed Qurei - both of them Muslims - are also taking part (in the Pope's Funeral).

I hoping since the time there is about 12-13 hours off ours I will be able to see it. But yes I want to watch his funeral

I watched it and found it very moving. Being a Polish former-Catholic, the Pope was very important in my family. We even had "Pope Balls" on the family Christmas tree.
I think whether you are Catholic or not, you have to agree that this was a man who fought for peace and human rights, and had the guts to tell it like he thought it was.
The most moving part of the funeral for me was the spontaneous applause and cries of "Santo" from the crowd. Also very moving to see Lech Walesa among the mourners.
We're witnessing history with the passing of this man.

Since I had to work, I only caught bits and pieces of it, but what I saw of it (and heard of the rest), it was a wonderful service for a kind and dedicated man.

As an aside, there is a *beautiful* photo of the Pope in this week's Newsweek.
He's younger...dressed in white robes, with a white ski jacket and white hiking boots. He's standing in the snow in the Italian Alps, with bits of mountain peeking through the snow on a sunny day.
With him all in white...against all the white snow and the gorgeous Alps as a backdrop... His face is in profile, looking up to the sky.
Now, I'm not Catholic. I'm not even Christian....but all that whiteness....along with the simple smile on his face -- it was the perfect expression of one man's communing with his G-d.
No matter what faith you are (of if you are of no religious faith at all), I hope that the serenity of the Pope's experience at that moment can be appreciated in its beauty.
