Silver Spring, MD - A woman accidentally drove her car off a parking garage Monday but suffered only minor injuries, police said.

The Toyota Avalon landed on its roof after plunging from the top level of the two-story parking garage outside Warwick Towers, Montgomery Country police said.

Teeranjanie Persaud, 19, told police that as she pulled into a parking space facing the outside of the building, she put her foot on the brake but her car kept going forward.

cause every single one of em around here does.
I cant see someone rolling into one of those and having it crumble beneath the weight of the car.

I saw that on the web the other day. There was a picture associated with the story. There was a great amount of damage done to the restraining wall on the upper level of the parking garage. I'm not sure if she just didn't slam into the barrier or if the wall was faulty. I can't remember which web site I was on. I'll try to look for it & see if I can post a picture of the accident.
