But ever since week 3 of training and now all this week whenever i'm not actually taking calls I've been extremely queasy almost to the point of losing my lunch.
It's not necessarily the calls. I get on the phones and I bang through them, but it's only week 1 of me actually being ON the phones and I keep screwing up in small ways. It's gotten to the point where I feel so queasy that I don't want to eat and I'm having to force myself to. That resulted in me being starving when I left work at 11 last night, and I can see it possibly sending me for a nasty low blood-sugar spiral in the future. :( A brain-dead Dragonfly on the phones be not good.

Any suggestions? Bestimus friend Foxglove has graced me with a massage gift certificate and I'm considering making that a weekly treat that I give myself to help keep me relaxed. I am drinking a lot of water, staying away from caffeine and extra sugar. Doing my best to eat healthy and not dive in to junk food, as all of this could possibly bring on depression. But anything else you can suggest would be awesome. Even sitting here, knowing I can get on those phones and handle most anything that comes my way, my stomach is just rolling.

Thus far the only thing I've discovered that utterly gets rid of the feeling is to keep myself completely distracted by doing chores around the house or running errands. But that's been hell on my energy and my wallet with having to get extra gas.

Thanks for your suggestions, guys.

Sounds like a really bad case of stress-related illness!

Besides the massage, you can try meditation or yoga or tai chi or even acupuncture, to try to keep yourself balanced.

Good luck! :grouphug:

Thanks. I'm finding that as each day passes and folks are giving me feedback that it's getting less nerve-wracking.

I did yoga when I was at Earthlink. I'll have to give that another shot. :D

I'm sorry you feel so out of whack. When I was Tech support for Bell South I felt ill alot the first month. After getting over that nervousness I just flew through the phone calls no problem.
You'll get it don't let the people on the other end stress you out. Get as much sleep as possible. I also brought sugar candy to work if I started feeling really sluggish it helped me. ( I know not good for the waist line but the first couple of weeks it helped me. )

Good Luck
