Greetings all! Just a reminder that New Jersey Renaissance Kingdom opened last weekend and will be running every weekend in June. The booth of the Wooden Wench is the Guild Sign in booth. If we have the room you can throw some stuff under the table to store. Hope to see you there!

Yay!!! I'll be working on Sunday... somewhere. My guess would be either front gate or archery or both or something. Look for me!!!! :)
And for shopping... it's "typical". Except for that Wooden Wench booth. You should go there and buy one of everything you see!

OK I just checked out the website.
What's with the whole King Arthur and the Quest for the Holy Grail thing? Is it the New Jersey RENAISSANCE Kingdom or the New Jersey Medieval/Dark Ages Kingdom?
King Arthur is only about 7 or 8 CENTURIES from what we call the Renaissance. (if he existed at all!)
Small point I know but I can be annoying like that. :P

Cyranno DeBoberac

It's "half a milennium", not "half a milennia". Millennia is plural.
If you want to get strict on something, try grammar. :moon:

Hhhmmm...nice try Mr. Fancy Pants.
If a millennia is plural then that's 2 thousand years. Half of that is 1 thousand years. 800 years is nearly 1 thousand. At least in the general way we talk about history.
If YOU want to get strict on something, try MATH.
I expected a little more from an MIT graduate. :x

I'm at NJRK as well. I play Lauralie the Liar on the fairway and Heloise the Enchantress on the 1:15 and 4:15 Enchanted Forest Tours.

I do believe that prior to the editing that came just 4 minutes before your post, that passage originally read (emphasis mine):
we're talking over half a MILLENNIA!!! 8)
Which would be incorrect mathematically (800 being less than 1000 and all) even if one accepts your tortured interpretation of grammar.
Online History Revisionism is really quite unbecoming....

I'm dying to go this weekend, if only to see my boy, but that's beside the point. I had a really good time both weekends that I went. Not to mention the fact that my garb is so good the people there put me to work because they thought I was working it. When they found out differently, all they really said was "You are now" and continued to put me to work. It was awesome.
Not to mention the friends I saw and the boys I met....

If you make it this weekend, find your way up to archery and say hi! And make sure to stop by the Wooden Wench and sign in the guild book.
