Hello, I'm (obviously) a new wench around these parts. I've been lurking on the boards and I loved the feel and friendliness so much that I just had to join! I'm fairly new to serious renaissance faire fascination (less than 2 years), but I have a long history in sci-fi and fantasy costuming, so it was a natural transition for me. Any chance I can get to dress up and act out is a great thing in my mind!

I too, am a huge costume junkie. In addition to renaissance garb, I have several costumes from the Indiana Jones trilogy (mostly Raiders)--I'm also a member over at the IndyGear.com forum (Club Obi-Wan.) Not to mention the fact that I'll have my Hogwarts uniform ready to go by Halloween...I wish every day of the year was Halloween, so I could always wear costumes!

I'm doing the PoA-style uniform. I'll be ordering everything up around the beginning of Sept., as that's when I'll have student loan money. (Blantantly inappropriate use of student loan money, yes...but I'm planning on wearing it to school on Halloween, so there....)
