As a reminder, the Local 96 does ask that all visiting wenches and rogues (and locals!) who wear their pins follow our Local Code of Conduct, and read and understand our basic Wenching 101 guidelines:

I know it sounds like a lot - but please remember that North Carolina is a very conservative state, and we have worked extremely hard for many years to establish and maintain good relations with faire management - especially with NCRF. re: the site - I'm in the process of getting it updated. From now on, it's just going to re-direct to the new blog layout, which will make things searchable and much easier for me to maintain. :)

Just moved to NC. So there is a good chance we will make it down visit sometime during the run to say hi and introduce ourselves (Especially since opening day is SK's b-day if I remember right). Is there a hostel on site? or a place that everyone gathers at?

I don't know where the hostel site will be this year. Laura or Lady Pirvy will have that information. But many of us hang at the beer tent ::guiness:

Welcome to NC! :)

At this point, we do not currently have a hostel - however, the pub tends to be the gathering place for most guildies. :) I will be volunteering with the SCA demo booth one day each weekend, and I believe LadyPriv will be as well.

More information as we get closer! :)

I got to meet Pinn last night while I was working at my store. It was a pleasure and I'll see you again on Saturday. I will be out of the Kroger clothes and in proper garb then :smile:

Looks like we'll be there on the second weekend. I spent more than planned on my car, so we have to wait until after payday to go to faire.

I guess I won't be doing faire for my birthday.
