Not a mere sand castle - more an amazing sculpture using sand as the medium. I've seen some amazing sand sculpture pictures from various competitions around the world. They're simply astounding. It's sad they're so temporary! There were some awesome sand sculptors at Scarby a few years back if I remember correctly. They were pretty darned amazing as well.

... which to me, makes them even more precious to behold. All that time, all that effort, going into making something so breathtaking... and you know it'll soon be washed away to make room for something else, some other person's vision.
