AP:
PROVO, Utah – Gary Coleman, the child star of the smash 1970s "Diff'rent Strokes" whose later career was marred by medical and legal problems, died Friday after suffering a brain hemorrhage. He was 42.

I wonder at what time do you think all the supermarket tabloids and entertainment magazines had his life story printed up and ready to ship-12:07 p.m.? That's two of the three stars of that show gone now.

Art Linkletter died this week too.

They say they go in 3's... I almost don't want to think who is going to be the 3rd.

- ShadowHawke -

Guess we know now ... the 3rd was Dennis Hopper.

They say they go in 3's...

"They" are wrong.

Actually, to be more precise, "they" make non-falsiable claims that are highly prone to confirmation bias and thus meaningless.

The doctors aren't sure if he only had one brain hemmorage....

...they think he might have had a few different strokes.

Ouch! It turns out it was his ex wife who decided to pull the plug. Gotta keep those wills updated people.

Entertainment Weekly reports:

Gary Coleman’s former lawyer claims the actor was divorced from Shannon Price at the time of his death on May 28, People reports. Randy Kester claims the pair’s marriage ended on Aug. 12, 2008, which raises questions about Price’s legal right to take Coleman off life support. “We’re definitely concerned about this and we’re looking into what exactly happened here,” Janet Frank, a spokesperson for the Utah Valley Regional Medical Center — the hospital in which Coleman passed away — told People. “Shannon certainly portrayed herself as his wife to our staff and doctors. We assumed she was telling the truth. We can’t comment on specific details in Mr. Coleman’s case, but in general, any patient on life support is thoroughly evaluated medically before life support is ended.”

Have you heard the 911 call (http://www.tmz.com/2010/06/02/gary-coleman-911-call-brain-hemorrhage/)? I don't hear a real urgency in her voice, personally.

The article I read on CNN states that Coleman had signed paperwork giving her the right to make medical decisions for him and that there really was no hope of survival for him. There is a doctor who was also quoted as saying that the decision to remove life support is only after a medical review.

Sorry I don't have the link handy...

Same here. She was too concerned with herself and not getting his blood all over herself. Didn't sound all too concerned for him.
