NYRF Visit: 4 Sept 05

Just dropping a note to say that I will be in attendance at NYRF on September 4th, 2005. Due to a family member's wedding in Hartford, I will be in the area for the weekend. I'm sorry that it can only be the 4th, but I'm attending the wedding on the 3rd and traveling back to MD on the 5th.

I *will* be stopping by the hostel since I need to pick up my IWG pin from the Lundegaard booth while I'm there (My poor pin and I have been separated for over a year now...).

Hello GalleyWench! It was great meeting you! I need the recipie for the thing that tasted like chocolate but oddly had veggies in it... My family doesnt believe i actually liked soemthing that had veggies in it (other than ketchup) :)

Also, we went by the wench cookie place and she said shed hold them for us and we forgot to go back... we hadnt paid for them, but i feel bad because she was nice enough to hold them....

The recipe for the Chocolate Zucchini cake has been PM'd to you. Jay can empathize with you... he HATES zucchini and carrots but he really likes this cake. Lol any way that I can sneak a few veggies in him helps!

Feel free to add other things like nuts or raisins and I have used all olive oil with some success, it is a fairly forgiving recipe :)

It was very nice to have the chance to meet you! I don't get to wander about nearly as much as I'd like to and half the time I forget to wear my pin so I am sure that I miss speaking to a lot of the IWG members....
Hopefully we'll have the chance to visit again :)

Sparrow can sell Galley Passes FASTER than Galley Wench can assemble the packets! I watched visitor after visitor just pull out the money and hand it over before she was even done... Very convincing...

Guys in kilts are nifty. I just printed a bunch of wedding pics where the groom is wearing one (i run a photo lab/ camera store)

And Sparrow sells so many cuz she talks really really fast. she should do the disclaimers at teh end of car ads! :)

Faire WHAT?!?!?!!? Uhm, no, we uhm, haven't learned about that one.

I have changed in the parking lot, without exposing anything and sending folks screaming out onto Rt 17A.

Oh and I am no longer a "Mead Virgin". That was taken care of at 10:05 AM yesterday morning. I was given a bit of Raspberry Mead. YUM!!!!
