Ladies --

I have a friend who attends MDRF on an annual basis. Although not a rennie, per se, she enjoys faire. She's a fellow widow who is remarrying and she's interested in having her rings custom designed.

She asked me if there are any vendors at MDRF who do custom work. She's going to be attending later in October, so if you could post any suggestions or recommendations, I'll pass them along to her.

Thanks!

There are jewelers at MDRF that do some exquisite work, R.E. Piland goldsmiths. They are also on the Queens galley pass so if you have one you might want to let her use it if she is making a purchase (they offer 5% on one item and 10% if you purchase two or more).

What sort of metal is she looking to have the rings crafted from? Will there be jewel settings? What time frame would she need the rings by?If you give me this information, I'll be happy to scout around so that your friend will be pointed in the right direction. Sound like a plan?

Alianne - Piland's does some fabulous work! They have specially designed donated pieces for the Team Wench Pirates' Feasts, as well as other items. They do beautiful work! I am not sure about the other jewelers (there are several who have exquisite selections to choose from!). Hoping this is helpful! Good luck!
