I got in an accident last night and ruined my car. Can anything else go wrong?

I agree never ask that question! Because that's when something will go wrong and I speak from personal experience. Hope you're okay! :grouphug:

Asking that question is just begging for things to go far worse. I hope you're alright.

I concur....never, NEVER ask that question again. I learned the hard way to never ask if things can get worse. Every time I asked during a really hard time in my life someone died.

So...yes things can get worse. At least you are ok. Next time it might not just be your car.

I'm sure you feel like everything that can go wrong is going wrong right now. You may be right. Sweetie, take a deep breath...draw a hot tub..throw some bath salts in and take a long restful bath. Then...meditate. See if the world is trying to tell you something. If the answer is no...gather up some of your favorite things...have some wine...or mint tea...read a book and let this bad time pass you by. If the answer is yes....see what you can do about working it out.

I'll keep you in my thoughts and prayers.

And remember this....things will get better....they always do. Hang in there.

I agree. These things are very cyclic. The trick is to A) know that the bad times MUST pass by eventually and B) to really enjoy the hell out of the good tiems adn remember them with as much clarity as you can muster. This is how one can be a realist and still have a cheery disposition. Hang in there. It will pass.

Oh, sweetie....I'm so sorry you had a car accident. If it makes you feel any better, this morning I watched some asshole hit my car in the parking lot at work while I was on my smoke break.

Hang in there. Like I told myself this morning....things can only go up from here!
