Whoever is supposed to check vanilty plates in CA is fairly lax. There's a guy in my area with a plate that reads "I [heart] BDSM" (For an extra fee here, there are few non-alphnumeric characters one can use, including a heart or a star). Perhaps DMV doesn't care about him stating preference publically, or they don't quite understand what BDSM stands for.

That's cuz you're not in WA state, they have to ban EVERYTHING here! Last year there were two cases publicized involving plates one guy had GOT MILF on his plate and a lady who had a bible verse printed on hers (no mention whether she kept it or not).

Anyway a breeder I know applied for a couple of plate options and they were all turned down. The one I remember was N8kd K9 because you couldn't use anything to imply naked . . . even in referance to a dog.
I think some of the rules need to be relaxed a little. They say worse things on TV than they used to. I agree they shouldn't allow curse words, and can see the point of not allowing religious statements - but come on - naked dog oh my the church lady is shaking is wondering if maybe Satin drives that car.
