I've been saying this same basic thing for years ever since I started a Quake clan back in the mid 90's. Dealing with problems and drama during the game definately helps you do the same thing in real life.

I can just see it - Harvard Business school begins offering Warcraft 101 as an into to management...

Actually, the article pretty much does speak the truth. Hubby has been duking it out in Molten Core for a few weeks now - there's alot of discussion, debate, tactics and stuff like that going on.

Too friggin' cool!

I'm constantly amazed at what my kiddo's learning by playing WoW. Quite a few fellow unschooling moms and I talk about our kids' love for WoW (and Runescape although John's not into that game) and the benefits and great learning experience such games provide. It's when we're unable to get beyond the traditional ideas of what "learning" and education are that we can't see the rich learning that's going on when we're playing.

GEE I'll have to tell my sons to make sure they list what type of games they play and how well when they fill out applications and resumes*rotfl*

It's true- I work at a video game. It's also a valid question to ask your surgeon if he plays video game.
