Since Clann an Drumma doesn't seem to be performing in the US in the near future, I'm so glad to find out that Albannach will be! :)

I was hoping we could see/hear them while they're close to home this week, but it's a private event. :( Anyway, watch for them at a festival near you!

They won't be performing in the US any time soon, if ever, sadly.

Yes, that is what I was afraid of. :( I don't know them personally, but they did come to practice once in a rare while & seemed to be a nice bunch of guys, and sooo talented! :)

Albannach is performing at the Pa ren faire Sept. 16-17 and Oct. 21-22. The schedule needs updated, but the forum god doesn't have computer access right now! :roll: Check the tour thread for other dates. And if you get to the Fairie Festival, stop by the Bashful Dragon tent and say "Hi!"

Cos Clann an Drumma is pretty much just Joe now, from what I understand. Has that changed, Draca?

I'm looking forward to seeing Albannach.

Right now, Clann an Drumma is Joe, Tu-Bardh (one of the original members) and 2 or 3 other guys that I don't know.
The rest of the band, Jamesie, Jacquie, Donnie, Kyle and Aya, formed the band Albannach, and they'll be the ones performing in the U.S.
I don't think CAD is putting as much effort into finding gigs here in the states as the others. But from what I understand, Albannach's sound is absolutely fantastic! We'll soon find out.

That's something that no one is 100% sure about. And no, I won't got into details cause I don't have the concrete facts. ::whistle:: Use your imaginations, people!
