it is a very interesting combination between beer and a sweet NRG drink, personally its not to my liking, but then again i'm not a bud fan either so that might be my problem, gimme a good heavy stout anyday and i'm happy. As for the NRG part of it, it had a kick, my sisters fiance gets wired off of the stuff i still say Yeck. its all a matter of what you like if your going to enjoy it or not.

Great. An upper and a downer in the same can.
Might as well call it the heart attack.

Lol!
Well, I always thought drinking was for relaxing...
Does this not defeat the purpose?
I am not a energy drinker, I am naturally hyper, do not need any help.
Just saw this out there yesterday and wondered... Had anyone else seen this?

Or better yet, let's make all those nasty drunks, the ones that pass out after a few too many, wide awake and ready for more nastiness. :unamused:
*** saw it on a news program a while back, locally. alot of the local bars refuse to serve it.***

That makes me ponder....
Exactly how much alcohol is in this?
I did not go over and pick it up to check.
I am not sure what it would do to those who drink it.
I know a red bull and vodka makes people exceedingly hyper and brave.
This just looks interesting.
Their is fruit flavors in the drink as well as beer flavor.

if I remember correctly, and i don't always, the reporter said it was something like having 2 1/2 beers with 3 cups of coffee, in a 12oz. can!!!
Now, my daughter and her friends, who drank the Red Bull & Vodka, said they wouldn't touch this with a 10' pole.

actually we just talked about mixing NRG drinks with alcohol in my nursing class, they said that, the NRG drink actually delays the effects of the alcohol, so instead of getting drunker quicker as the theory goes, you stay drunker/hung over longer. not a cool combination in my opinion.
why you would want a longer hangover beats the snot out of me.

Whoa! Don't like Bud, never have, so I seriously doubt I'd try the stuff. And, as Brigid says, if it causes your hangover to last longer, then definitely Uh-Uh.

I don't know how it could make a hangover last longer. Hangovers are generally just a matter of dehydration. I don't get them very often because I always remember to take a tylenol and drink a big glass of water before I go to bed. When I do that I always wake up hangover free.
If I do wake up with a hangover...a few swigs of Gatorade takes care of it real fast.

I’m not a Bud drinker either, but this stuff is not bad. I play year round in local volleyball leagues. Summer coed games are much more enjoyable with a cold beer or six. B^e gets your game on and keeps it there through several matches. As for other alcohol and energy drinks… my personal favorite is the Jagerbomb (Jagermeister and Red Bull). I’m not an angry or mean drunk, but have been know to be a sleepy drunk. Now it is possible to enjoy the buzz right up until the hangover starts.

So, what does it taste like?
I am not sure I would like fruit-flavored beer....

I hate the taste of beer to begin with but if the hubby picks up some I might give it a quality taste-test just to say I've tried it  I just can't imagine beer in fruity flavors (this is what I'll probably do when I taste it:snarf: ). Reminds me of The Drew Carey Show when they started making 'Buzz Beer'*rotfl*
