Who's Invited?
You, of course . . . and any of your friends (guilded or not) that you can get to join you.

To what am I invited?
The Third IWG Local 24 Cookbook Binding Party

Where am I going?
My house. Email me for the address and directions.

When do I show up?
Sunday, June 29, 2003. We will need to get several hours worth of work done, so let's call it for 1:00 PM. The first binding party we had broke up at 2:00 AM. We've gotten way more organized since then (thanks, Stacey!), and the last one in March broke up about 10:00PM.

So, even if you can't get here by 1:00, come on over. We'll still need your help.

Why a binding party?
As you know the IWG Local 24 cookbooks are flying off the shelves. Well, OK maybe not shelves, but they are flying out of the little plastic bins we store them in.

With the number of books we managed to sell at the King Arthur Faire and at both weekends of Stockwood, our supply of books is again depleted.

We need more books to get us through the summer faire season. Park City is coming up, as is Robin Hood, CTRF and other faires.

Remember, all proceeds go to the Make-A-Wish foundation in honor of Bodge.

In addition to doing work for a good cause, this is a great opportunity to meet your fellow wenches and rennies. We have a few new members of the local and it would be nice for everyone to get to know each other in a relaxed atmosphere.

Great people, yummy food, work for a good cause. What more can you ask for?

RSVP
Mais oui! Please RSVP via email so I can get a head count for helpers and for food.

What can I bring?
I'll provide food and drink . . . and of course chocolate. If you'd like to bring something, feel free. For those that want to bring food, call me so I can coordinate who is bringing what.

Also, despite hopes this winter, we do not yet have the hot tub. Ask nice and I can set up a sprinkler on the front lawn. Bring your own towel.

To garb or not to garb?
This is a wench event, but garb is certainly *not* required. Binding books is work. Wear whatever you are comfortable in - jeans, t shirts, shorts, garb, whatever. Our house has central air so it will be comfortable inside.

*channeling granny* Bring a sweater if you get cold.

Can't wait to see all of you . . .
