OK, this is the first I've heard about this faire http://www.wirenfaire.com

Is anyone planning on going? Is guild 34 planning to attend at all? This one is a bit closer to me, but it looks like it's brand new, and even though it's technically "closer" it's still a two hour drive into foreign territory.

If anyone knows anything about this faire I'd love to get more information

This is the first I've heard about it too. From their website, it looks to be fairly small (not too surprising as it's the first year), but could be fun.

Unfortunately, it's pretty far away for me to get there, but I'll post the information on our other sites to see if anyone is interested.

Thanks for the info!

Teatro! will be performing there. I am fairly certain that Columbina is a Wench. I saw their show at MDRF and it was great fun.

It looks like a really great faire, too bad I have no weekends off during the run of the show.

Well it's been open for two weekends now. Has anyone gone? I'd love to hear what you thought of it if you went!

Lady Sarah Phoenix and I went this Saturday. This is a faire that is still in the process of building but it was still fun to attend. A few merchants we haven't seen at other area ren faires which was nice. We thought we were going to get stuck with a rain filled day but it cleared up by the time we got there. This is a faire with lots of potential. Its still a bit hilly and it is still all dirt but there's lots of room and easy to navigate. Jousters had a bit of trouble with the wet ground and the match didn't last as long as I would have liked but the rest of the entertainment was good. It was nice to see several European cultures, such as the Italian wedding and a India/Muslim? type story teller. Most, not all, garb is usually UK themed. There are photos over at Sir Clisto and Lord Magnus sites as well as links to those over at www.fairechasers.com (http://www.fairechasers.com) in the forum board
