My cat has figured out how to turn off my computer via the power strip.
For the second day in a row I have found the entire power strip turned off. This is not counting the time I saw her walk under the desk, step on the switch, and walk back out with her ears put back. While I was working on the computer.
*sigh*

Hey Win, on a serious note, check your power strip.
My late cat, Pumpkin, kept pawing at a plug for a lamp. When we looked closer at the cord, we noticed our rabbit had chewed it and left the wires exposed. Your cat may actually be trying to tell you there's a problem with a cord.

Good advice Buxom... Sister's rabbit had been chewing at her tv power cord and they didn't realize it at first. Found out one day when they heard a noise and the rabbit hopped out from behind the entertainment center with fried whiskers. My neighbor's two dogs will let her have some time on the computer before they start bothering her for attention. Think it's their way of telling her time to get off that thing and pay attention to us.

Hmm..
My dogs like to disconnet the computer wires, But i think they are
just weird. I know they like to curl up next to harddrive cause it it warm, and they are safe there from their bipedal brother.
See if you can watch the kitty at her game, she might have connected the action of hitting the switch to you moving.
All else fails.. I blame the fish.

besides the safely factor for the cat you might want to spnda a little more time with her instead of being on the computer.
